Fixed Lock Toggle
Used on tubular metal posts where the design only allows for penetration of one side of the post. The fitting passes through a drill hole and toggles into locked position inside the post, leaving no exposed hardware. This fitting will accommodate angled stair conditions without beveled washers.

Typically paired with another Fixed Lock Toggle plus an In-Line Turnbuckle.

DrillØ is the recommended drill hole size for attaching fittings to end posts. Drill hole diameters for the intermediate posts may be different than the fitting attachment posts; please call our sales department at 707-731-2581 to confirm proper hole sizes.

To minimize cable deflection, each cable, when properly installed, will have a tension load of at least 300 lbs. Therefore, it's important that frames are designed and built strong enough to support these loads. Review Frame Requirement Detail to help you prepare the railing for cable infill.

We strongly advise against exceeding a 3-inch cable spacing.

We recommend having a post or vertical member (intermediate picket) at least every 3 feet.
